Tire rotation: the forgotten maintenance task.
Many folks have forgotten the overall importance of rotating their tires on a regular basis, which is about every 8,000 miles. Many people have no idea what a tire rotation is, much less why you would want to do it.The tires on your car have certain functions and principals that cause them to wear independently and differently of one another. This is due to the way you drive, but also how your car is designed. For example, every time you take a corner to pull into your driveway, you are actually putting additional wear on the left or right front tire respectfully. To help fix this issue, it is recommended by tire manufactures as well as vehicle manufactures, that you rotate the front tires to the rear. When you rotate your tires, you are allowing all four of them to get equal duty across all four corners of the vehicle, therefore providing you with longer use of your tires.
